Critical success factors of the digital dental lab include:

CAD-based dental restorations using EnvisionTEC 3D printers deliver labor and material cost reduction as well as higher clinical quality and consistency throughout the manufacturing process. Labs need to compete with offshore production. Our low-cost, high-throughput solutions offer the requisite quality to level the global playing field and improve dental lab competitiveness.

Open Architecture And Full Integration

EnvisionTEC 3D printers are optimized for a number of materials representing a broad portfolio of dental and orthodontic applications. We are in constant communication with the R&D teams of the most recognized dental CAD software companies to ensure a seamless workflow that delivers consistent manufacturing quality. Whether using 3Shape CAMbridge™ or DWOS-RPM from Dental Wings, automatic preparation is optimized for all EnvisionTEC printers. From optimal placement to orientation to support generation, job creation is one click away. Identification tags may be automatically placed next to each item to minimize processing after printing. Design parameters in 3Shape and Dental Wings have been optimized to deliver a set of Standard Operating Parameters that are application-specific and provided upon request.

EnvisionTEC

Ever since EnvisionTEC patented the Perfactory Digital Light Processing (DLP) machine in 1999, we have built a reputation for reliable and high-quality engineering solutions. Our engineering expertise has been leveraged to manufacture award-winning, high-speed, and economical 3D printers that lead the market in multiple industry verticals.

Conventional DLP based projectors were considered when EnvisionTEC decided to build a 3D printer. These were rejected as either 1) incapable of achieving the resolution required or 2) cost-prohibitive in terms of ongoing maintenance for the professional end user or 3) having a short lifecycle rendering them obsolete in less than 3 years. Thus, the Perfactory DLP process was born and subsequently commercialized in 2002.
