The 150 Homogenizer is a high performance, light weight tissue homogenizer designed to reliably process samples, quickly and efficiently. The 150 Homogenizer is ideally suited for a wide range of small volume applications such as tissue homogenization, PCR analysis, cell disruption, RNA/DNA and protein extractions, and emulsions and suspensions.

A variety of interchangeable quick connect rotor stator generator probes provide the end user flexibility to process samples from 200μL to 100 mL. Stainless steel probes (5mm - 10mm diameter) are designed for long life and are easy to disassemble for cleaning.

Plastic Generator Probes virtually eliminate the risk of cross contamination and carryover between samples and in most cases can be cleaned for reuse.

The 150 Homogenizer is designed for comfortable hand-held use or it can be mounted to a motor stand for lengthier processing.

The 850 Homogenizer is an affordable, high performance instrument capable of processing virtually any laboratory sample in seconds. A powerful 850-watt motor provides maximum versatility for homogenizing, dispersing or emulsifying the largest variety of samples types and sizes in its class.

The 850 Homogenizer features an advanced, integrated, push button digital control system that ensures accuracy and repeatability. The unit’s closed loop variable speed controller (5,000 - 25,000 rpm) maintains selected speeds within +/- 100 rpm of the original set point. The digital timer can be set from seconds to minutes, and includes a 30 second countdown timer, which is ideal for remote applications in fume hoods or biosafety cabinets. A soft start feature ensures smooth processing and minimizes splashing.

The 850 Homogenizer is compatible with a wide range of interchangeable stainless-steel rotor stator generator probes (sold separately), from 5 mm to 30 mm diameter, and processes samples ranging from <200 μL to 5 liters. Stainless steel probes are constructed of quality materials for durability and are easy to disassemble for cleaning. Plastic generator probes are available to completely eliminate the risk of carryover and cross contamination between samples. (adapter required).

The Fisher Scientific Bead Mill 24 is the most advanced and powerful bead mill
homogenizer available. It is designed for grinding, lysing, and homogenizing
biological samples prior to molecular extraction. The Bead Mill 24’s unique tube
carriage motion coupled with sample specific bead beating materials ensure that
a thorough homogenate is achieved regardless of sample type. The high lysing
efficiency of the Bead Mill 24 results in an increase in nucleic acid, protein and
small molecule yields and increases the sensitivity of the downstream assay.
