SWC offers radial insert ball bearings and housing units that guarantee long operating lifetime at high temperatures and low speeds. Additionally our bearings ensure reduced maintenance costs. Depending on the used lubricant, SWC high-temp radial insert ball bearings allow temperatures up to 350°C.
SWC offers housing units consisting of a radial insert ball bearing and either Plummer block housing (UCP), Two-bolt flanged housing (UCFL) or Four-hole flanged housing (UCF).
For higher temperatures SWC offers two different special versions:
• High-temp radial insert ball bearings for temperatures up to 350°C and low speeds
• T250 versions for temperatures up to 250°C and higher speeds
The increased radial clearance, which is a multiple of the clearance C5, works as a compensation for temperature-induced deformations of the production goods, such as rails or transport units.
SWC offers three lubricants for high-temp radial insert ball bearings, which can be differentiated as follows:
With the products labeled as T250, SWC offers radial insert ball bearings, which are suitable for both high temperatures and high speeds. Every T250 bearing is available as open version, filled with suitable lubricant or as complete unit and comprises the following properties:
