The Malvern NanoSight range of instruments provides an easy-to-use, reproducible platform for nanoparticle characterization. Nanosight range utilizes Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA) to characterize nanoparticles from 10 nm - 2000 nm in solution.
Each particle is individually but simultaneously analyzed by direct observation and measurement of diffusion events. This particle-by-particle methodology produces high resolution results for particle size distribution and concentration, while visual validation provides users with additional confidence in their data. Both particle size and concentration are measured, while a fluorescence mode provides differentiation of labelled or naturally fluorescing particles.

Malvern NS500 provides detailed and intuitive analysis of the size distribution and concentration of all types of nanoparticles. Single particle zeta potential measurements on the NS500 provide inherent high resolution zeta distributions which can be measured simultaneously with other NTA measurements parameters like size, particle concentration and can even operate whilst in fluorescence mode.
Samples are introduced into the viewing chamber using the integrated fluidics capbility. On-screen pump control allows for automatic sample handling, including loading, washing and dilution. Software-controlled motorized optical stages enable rapid relocation and refocusing following cleaning, improving reproducibility. Sample temperature is fully programmable through the Nanoparticle Tracking Analysis (NTA) software.
Simultaneous measurement of multiple characteristics saves time and sample volume
Visual validation of results gives extra confidence
User friendly software with easy set up of SOPs for routine use
Minimal sample preparation
Choice of laser wavelengths
