Using the i.P.E.S.T.s (Inspection, Planning, Exclusion, Sanitation, Treatment, Study) framework, we present a systematic approach that combines Syngenta’s innovative solutions with practical preventive measures to deliver an effective and sustainable pest management program.
Who is Julie Na?
Julie is the APAC Professional Pest Management Technical Services Manager of Syngenta, extending her expertise to AME-RUK regions. Armed with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Entomology from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), she brings over two decades of comprehensive experience in urban pest management, with specialized expertise in food safety (HACCP, GMP, AIB), pest-bird proofing and fumigation practices.
Her current focus is developing integrated farm-pest management strategies for livestock environments, particularly in poultry operations. Julie’s passion lies in bridging urban and farm-pest management disciplines through education and practical implementation of integrated pest management strategies, helping livestock farmers achieve better production outcomes.
