DKSH has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Lantmännen Functional Foods, a leading Swedish provider of oat beta-glucan and oat proteins for food and beverage as well as nutraceutical applications in India, China, Taiwan, Japan, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
Zurich, Switzerland, November 16, 2022 – DKSH's Business Unit Performance Materials, a leading distributor of specialty chemicals and ingredients, will provide business development, marketing, sales, logistics, and distribution services for Lantmännen Functional Foods’ range of oat beta-glucan and oat proteins in five key Asian Pacific markets.
Lantmännen Functional Foods develops and markets unique oat-based ingredients for manufacturers of foods, beverages, food supplements, and cosmetics. Their product range includes an oat beta-glucan, a water-soluble fiber that can be used for lowering cholesterol in foods and beverages, and as a texturizer. DKSH will also represent a unique plant-based oat protein that meets consumer needs for nutritious, protein-enriched foods and supplements.
DKSH was entrusted to grow Lantmännen’s food and beverage business across the region thanks to its extensive distribution network, knowledgeable commercial and technical teams, strong capabilities in logistics, and value-added services, including technical and regulatory support.
