We are the leading Market Expansion Services provider for companies who want to grow their business in Portugal.

DKSH established in Portugal in June 2014 through the acquisition of Zeus Química, Lda. subsidiary of Zeus Química, S.A. in Spain.

Founded in 1999, Zeus Química, Lda. has been a reference into the Portugal chemical distribution thanks to its customer-centric and solution driven approach, the highly qualified technical staff and the long-standing relationships developed with its business partners.

DKSH Portugal, as a Market Expansion Services company, has a highly specialized sales team which main objective is to give a professional response to the needs of our customers by providing a renewed range of chemical specialties aimed at improving the quality and technological development. We provide a constant work in cooperation with them, at technical and human level.

DKSH Portugal carries out its activities through four industry business lines: Food & Beverage, Personal Care, Pharmaceutical and Specialty Chemicals, encompassing a wide range of technical application fields, and an internal organization that covers financial and administrative areas and logistics.

DKSH achieves climate-neutrality in founding markets

Together with Plant-for-the-Planet, DKSH sets its founding markets climate-neutral and additionally compensates emissions from air travel. In doing this, DKSH takes responsibility for CO2-emissions from business activities and strengthens its commitment in the area of Sustainability.

DKSH publishes half-year results 2019

Net sales of CHF 5.6 billion matched the previous year’s level (underlying growth: 3.1% organic plus 1.2% M&A). The operating profit (EBIT) was below last year due to the exit of the Healthcare business in China (CHF 17.1 million) and restructuring costs in Consumer Goods (CHF 13.3 million). Excluding these effects, the adjusted EBIT grew 1.3% to CHF 124.0 million. In line with the acquisition strategy, DKSH has already acquired four value-accretive businesses.

DKSH reports on its progress in sustainability

DKSH publishes the second report on its environmental, social and governance performance based on the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). The report demonstrates DKSH’s commitment to continually stepping up sustainability efforts. The company also includes its contribution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals for the first time.
