DKSH has signed a distribution agreement with Micro-LAM to offer its key product OPTIMUS T2 in China. This strategic partnership aims to provide Chinese customers in optical industries with a competitive advantage in ultra-precision machining.
Media release
Shanghai, August 20, 2021 – DKSH Business Unit Technology has entered into an exclusive partnership with Micro-LAM, a manufacturer of laser-assisted systems for ultra-precision machining. DKSH will provide applications support, marketing and sales, distribution and logistics as well as after-sales services to promote its key product OPTIMUS T2 in China.
The OPTIMUS T2 is a patented, next-level, laser-assisted machining device that leverages the deterministic nature and flexibility of an existing diamond-turning machine, transforming it into a platform that can fabricate complex optical surfaces in hard materials. It has a wide application in optical industries, such as imaging optics, camera lens molding, IR optics, surveillance and security optics, medical optics, automotive, and many more.
Deepak Ravindra, Chief Executive Officer of Micro-LAM, Inc., stated: “DKSH has unparalleled experience and in-depth knowledge in the optical industries in China. DKSH & Micro-LAM will immediately invest in bringing high-quality applications support to China, allowing us to directly address customer challenges.
