DKSH has completed the installation of SOMA's new flexographic printing press of the Optima range, SOMA 880 Optima CI Flexo press, at the main plant of Multiflex Polybags (P) Ltd. in Chennai, India.

Mumbai, India, June 16, 2021 – DKSH Business Unit Technology, a leading Market Expansion Services provider and distributor of packaging, printing and converting equipment, has once again partnered with SOMA, a leading manufacturer of printing and converting solutions for flexible packaging. As a result of this collaboration, DKSH has successfully installed SOMA's new compact Optima flexographic printing press at Multiflex Polybags, a leading flexible packaging producer of labels, pouches and polybags, in its main plant at Chennai, India.

The compact 8-color SOMA 880 Optima CI Flexo press installed at Multiflex, is a highly automated press with all the bells and whistles for automated make-ready, registration and cleaning purposes without waste of material and time. The press runs at a speed of 300 meters a minute and can print materials with a width of 820mm.
