Seoul, Korea, October 26, 2018 – DKSH's Business Unit Performance Materials, a leading ingredients and specialty chemicals distributor, first partnered with Axens in Japan 56 years ago. Leveraging on their successful long-standing relationship, both DKSH and Axens decided to expand their cooperation to Korea in 2006 for two of their key product lines. For twelve years, the companies built on their highly reputed partnership to provide innovative specialty materials and solutions to major market segments throughout the region.
Axens products that DKSH takes care of, include activated and promoted alumina, metal oxide, alumina catalyst, TiO2 and Co-Mo based catalysts. The third DKSH-Axens joint seminar in Korea was held on October 24-26 on Jeju Island and was attended by close to 100 representatives from leading companies in the Oil&Gas and petrochemicals industries.
The speakers offered various insights during sessions that focused on the latest catalyst, process and digital solutions, as well as new Axens technologiesfor natural gas. Key speakers included Dr. Jean-Claude Plumail, Director, Adsorbents & Claus Dpt at Axens and Dr. Natale Capri, Co-Head Business Unit Performance Materials at DKSH.
