Media release
Phnom Penh, Cambodia, January 5, 2018 – DKSH, the leading Market Expansion Services provider with a focus on Asia, has strengthened its quality management system in Cambodia by upgrading it to ISO 9001:2015 for its entire operations and ISO 13485:2016 for medical devices.
The ISO 9001 standard specifies several quality management principles including a strong customer focus, motivation and implication of the top management as well as the process approach and continual improvement systems. The ISO 13485 standard in return determines the requirements for a quality management system demonstrating the ability to provide medical devices that consistently meet customer needs and applicable regulatory standards. DKSH Cambodia has earlier been certified with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and GSDP (Good Storage and Distribution Practice) standards.
Menh Tech, Head of Country Management, DKSH Cambodia, said: “DKSH opened its first office in Cambodia in 1952. Since then, we have invested heavily in establishing processes to support our expansion plans and clients' growth in this fast-growing market. Being now the first service provider in Cambodia to achieve these two important ISO certifications, shows that we remain committed to bringing the best services to our clients and customers.”
