DKSH has started a new partnership with Laboratoires ERIGER, the French developer of the innovative PhytoVec® technology, which uses chlorophyll to protect the active ingredients of molecules.
Lyon, France, January 26, 2022 – DKSH's Business Unit Performance Materials, a leading distributor of specialty chemicals and ingredients, will provide business development, marketing, sales, distribution, and logistics for Laboratoires ERIGER’s PhytoVec® technology for the personal care industry in France.
Laboratoires ERIGER is a French start-up that developed a brand new and patented technology of vectorization based on chlorophyll. PhytoVec® technology, sustainably and responsibly developed, was designed to vectorize fragile, unstable, or destabilizing active molecules at high concentration to allow easy and stable incorporation into formulas, as well as ensure better bioavailability of active ingredients. Standard PhytoVec® grades are already available and Laboratoires ERIGER can support companies to create tailor-made products.
Gérald Chomat, Laboratoires ERIGER’s Co-Head, stated: “Our partnership with DKSH is a real strength for our start-up. This synergy between the cosmetics market, DKSH’s knowledge, and our vectorization expertise will provide customers with a high level of cutting-edge services and products. We are confident that DKSH will leverage our Phytovec® technology, combining scientific innovation with environmental benefits.
Olivier Patricola, Manager, Local Business Line, Personal Care Industry, DKSH France, added: “We are delighted to partner with Laboratoires ERIGER. Our customers will greatly benefit from the advantages of the unique PhytoVec® technology. The combined expertise and know-how of the specialists at ERIGER Laboratories and the DKSH France personal care team will support the development of their cosmetics projects.”
