DKSH China Continues to Support Charity Project for Disabled People in Xinjiang

DKSH China collaborated with Good-hope Bakery of Special Youth, the public welfare bakery in Urumqi, to support the employment of young adults with intellectual disabilities through the “One Cake, Multiple Blessings” charity project.

Shanghai, China, May 20, 2025 — DKSH China, a leading Market Expansion Services provider, has once again collaborated with Good-hope Bakery of Special Youth in Urumqi, Xinjiang to support the “One Cake, Multiple Blessings” charity event. This year’s initiative coincided with the 35th National Disabled Person’s Day on May 18. On this day, DKSH collected hundreds of handmade birthday cakes prepared by young adults with intellectual disabilities working at the bakery. These cakes were donated to severely disabled individuals from low-income households in Xinjiang, bringing a delicacy and with that also joy to the local community.

As part of DKSH’s continued sustainability commitment to corporate social responsibility and inclusive development, the company’s support helped promote employment opportunities for intellectually disabled youth, while also addressing the needs of vulnerable groups in the region. Each birthday cake delivered not only brought a sense of celebration but also served as a symbol of inclusion and respect for all.

Its main products include handmade birthday cakes, cookies, and mooncakes.
