Media release
Bangkok, April 12, 2021 – DKSH Business Unit Consumer Goods, the leading partner for consumer
goods companies seeking to grow their business in Asia and beyond, has been selected by H&H Group to introduce Swisse health and beauty vitamins, supplements and skincare to the Thai market. DKSH Thailand will provide sales and marketing as well as distribution and logistics services to ensure discerning Thai consumers can conveniently find Swisse products in stores across the country.
Swisse launched in Australia in the late 1960s and since then, the brand has been continually developing wellness products of superior quality and efficacy, educating consumers about the importance of taking care of their health as well as promoting sustainable ingredients. Swisse's manufacturing in Australia, under the country's strict regulatory system and Therapeutic Goods Administration for vitamins and supplements, is a key reason for consumer confidence in the brand. Swisse's multivitamins are targeted to all gender and age brackets. The brand's natural skincare uses so-called “hero” ingredients sourced from the world's most nutrient-rich regions. Examples of such hero ingredients in Swisse's products are cranberries from Cape Cod and blood oranges from the foot of the volcanic Mount Etna in Sicily.
Swisse connects with its current and potential consumers by generating visually appealing, exciting and informative digital content and experiential moments. Australian actors Nicole Kidman and Chris Hemsworth are global brand ambassadors with Thai ambassadors also set to share their experiences using Swisse.
Charles Ravel, H&H Group's Managing Director for Asia, North America and Global Marketing, said: “We are delighted to partner with DKSH to bring our premium Swisse products to consumers in Thailand. We are confident in DKSH's strong nationwide footprint and omni-channel capabilities to support a successful launch and continued growth in this market.”
Kwanchai Assanee, Vice President, Business Unit Consumer Goods, DKSH Thailand commented: “We are excited to be the trusted partner for H&H Group and to deliver growth to their brand in Thailand. We are fully committed to driving the visibility and availability of Swisse's products and reaching Thai consumers across the country with these outstanding products.”
