DKSH has been awarded the “Biggest Single Launch 2019” from Beneo for its outstanding achievements as an exclusive partner in Japan.

Tokyo, Japan, March 6, 2020 - DKSH Business Unit Performance Materials received the award in the category “Biggest Single Launch 2019” from its key client, Beneo, the leading manufacturer of functional ingredients based in Belgium and Germany. The Beneo Sales Network Meeting 2020 was held in Sitges, Spain and was attended by Beneo’s business partners from 50 countries around the world. After the success of last year, the 2020 award marks the second time that DKSH Japan has been awarded by Beneo.

 

For over 20 years, DKSH Japan has provided import, marketing and sales as well as distribution services as the exclusive partner for Beneo’s Orafti products Inulin and Oligofructose, derived from chicory roots.

 

DKSH has consistently increased its sales of Orafti products in the Japanese market by focusing on the products’ nutritional benefits. Orafti’s offerings comprise prebiotics, which support helpful bacteria and other organisms in the gut. In addition, they enable strong colonic fermentation to ensure an efficient digestive process. The products can also be easily combined with beneficial bacteria, such as bifidobacteria and lactobacillus, which help prevent infections and general digestion problems. The successful introduction of Beneo’s Inulin to a major dairy food company in Japan contributed to this prestigious award.
