Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, September 11, 2021 – DKSH, the leading partner for companies seeking to grow their businesses in Asia and beyond, today launched MEDflix Vol. 2, a two-day medical congress that is held on a virtual platform. With attendance from about 4,000 healthcare delegates, MEDflix Vol. 2 is one of the biggest virtual healthcare congresses in the country.
The event was officiated by Dr. Koh Kar Chai, President Elect from the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA).
First launched in 2020, MEDflix is a virtual medical congress that brings together healthcare professionals nationwide in pursuit of continuous medical education. This medical conference is endorsed by the MMA. MEDflix Vol. 2 is “bigger, better, broader”, by connecting local healthcare professionals beyond the country borders.
In his opening speech, Dr. Koh Kar Chai, President Elect, MMA, said: “The MMA is supportive of initiatives that promote continuous medical education, and applauds DKSH Malaysia for playing a pivotal role in creating this platform to foster a dynamic exchange of professional medical knowledge for the medical community in the country.”
Gary Chee, Vice President, Business Unit Healthcare, DKSH Malaysia, commented: “DKSH is close to being a 100-year-old healthcare partner in Malaysia's history. The uncertainties caused by the pandemic have presented an opportunity to prove our agility. Last year, we organized the first MEDflix with great success, facilitating an unprecedented wave of collaboration within our healthcare community. MEDflix has gotten bigger, better and broader ever since. We are grateful for the support from the various public and private healthcare partners who stand with us at the forefront of healthcare to advance in the medical field and to enrich people's lives together.”
