The first fully automated fiber analysis solution following official reference methods. Lowest operator time of any fibre analysis solution. Official reference method results with unrivalled accuracy (ISO, AOAC). Safest fibre analysis solution available.

Fibertec™ 8000 is a fully automated system for determination of crude fibre, detergent fibre and related parameters according to standard reference ‘crucible’ methods such as Weende, van Soest etc.

The lowest operator time of any fibre solution

Unattended measurement of up to six samples releases staff to do other things. On board heating and automatic dispensing of all reagents, antifoam and rinsing with water saves time and prevents the risk of human error.

Official reference method results with unrivalled accuracy

No sample transfer or risk of error as sample residue remains in the crucible throughout the procedure. Discrete analysis of each sample according to official methods ensures reliable reference results, while consistent heating rate and time to boiling ensures repeatability.

Safest fibre analysis solution available

Ensure safety with automatic functions such as dispensing of reagents to prevent contact with chemicals and fumes, heat reduction at boiling point to prevent spillage and addition of enzymes and anti-foam when required.

Foss Fibertec™ 8000

Official reference method results

The Fibertec™ 8000 provides official method results (ISO, AOAC), with the safest fibre analysis solution available for crude fibre, ADF, ADL and NDF. Non-attended measurement of up to six samples simultaneously releases staff to do other things – it can even run overnight.

Foss Fibertec™ 8000

No sample transfer

Samples are handled separately in standard filter crucibles which are used both as an integral part of the assembly during extraction, rinsing and filtration and as sample vessels during weighing, drying and ashing. Sample residue remains in the crucible during the whole procedure, avoiding sample transfer and associated risk of error.

Foss Fibertec™ 8000

On-board heating and dispensing of reagents

Innovative safety features help you to raise the safety level in everyday operations. All reagents are dispensed automatically avoiding any contact with hot chemicals and their fumes. In addition, automatic heat reduction when the boiling point is reached prevents spillage. The system adds antifoam and enzymes automatically (when required).

The FT 121 Fibertec cold extraction unit

The FT 121 Fibertec™ cold extraction unit can be used in combination with the fully automated Fibertec™ 8000 for de-fatting samples and extraction at ambient temperatures and solvent dehydration of fibre residues.

How Fully Automated Fibre Analysis Can Save Time and Money in The Lab

Foss Analytical

FOSS creates end-to-end solutions that secure and improve food quality. From raw material to finished product. Our analysis instruments refine measurements into information management that enables businesses to run intelligent data-driven productions with less waste and bigger yields. Controlling cost and quality across all sectors and value chains, we help food and agricultural producers limit the number of human errors, scale their business faster and reduce manual labor as well as labor costs. We call it analytics beyond measure.

We cover these food and agricultural industries: Dairy, Feed and Forage, Grain, Flour Milling & Oilseed Processing, Laboratories, Meat, Raw Milk Testing and Wine.

Over the last 60 years, we have made it our business to define the standard of analytical solutions for the food and agricultural industry. We pioneered advanced analysis for the challenging production environments in the 1960’s, and we were the first to integrate chemical composition analysis in process lines. Now our resolve and ambition have also made us the international benchmark in the field of chemometrics and real time analytics.
