The company is a manufacturer of probiotics for the OTC channel. Probiotics are microorganisms intended to provide health benefits when consumed, mainly by improving or restoring the gut flora.
Our client’s product did not have strong brand awareness among consumers in the market. To overcome this, our client wanted to generate more medical endorsements and recommendations from the industry on the product’s benefits and effectiveness, as well as significantly enhance the product’s public profile and credibility.
We focused on raising the product’s profile in two key areas: potential pharmacies and patients.
The team conducted education programs to familiarize the target audience with the product and communicated its quality, safety profile and benefits. The goal was to create awareness among consumers and assure professionals would recommend the product to end-users.
DKSH also expanded the product’s availability in the pharmacy channel in Thailand to intensify contact with targeted customers.
At the end of the first year of collaboration, our client chalked up an impressive double-digit brand growth despite an overall declining market. After the second year, the product continued this growth trend.
